【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftensionandelongationofwideornarrowelasticfabricsmadefromnaturalorman-madeelastomers,eitheraloneorincombinationwithothertextileyarns,whentestedwithaconstant-rate-of-extension(CRE)typetensiletestingmachine.Note1-Fordeterminationofsimilartestingusingtheconstant-rate-of-load(CRL)typetensiletestingmachine,refertoTestMethodD1775.1.2Theuseofthistestmethodrequirestheselectionof,ormutualagreementupon,tension(s)andelongation(s)atwhichthetestresultswillbedetermined.1.3Launderingproceduresrequiremutualagreementontheselectionoftemperatureandnumberofwashingcyclesanddryingcyclestobeused.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;thereforeeachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
