【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheapparatus,thereagentsandtheproceduretobeusedinconductingtheneutralsaltspray(NSS),aceticacidsaltspray(AASS)andcopper-acceleratedaceticacidsaltspray(CASS)testsforassessmentofthecorrosionresistanceofmetallicmaterials,withorwithoutpermanentortemporarycorrosionprotection.Italsodescribesthemethodemployedtoevaluatethecorrosivityofthetest-cabinetenvironment.Itdoesnotspecifythedimensionsoftestspecimens,theexposureperiodtobeusedforaparticularproduct,ortheinterpretationofresults.Suchdetailsareprovidedintheappropriateproductspecifications.Thesaltspraytestsareparticularlyusefulfordetectingdiscontinuities,suchasporesandotherdefectsincertainmetallic,organic,anodicoxideandconversioncoatings.Theneutralsaltspraytestappliesto:—metalsandtheiralloys;—metalliccoatings(anodicandcathodic);—conversioncoatings;—anodicoxidecoatings;—organiccoatingsonmetallicmaterials.Theaceticacidsaltspraytestisespeciallyusefulfortestingdecorativecoatingsofcopper+nickel+chromium,ornickel+chromium.Ithasalsobeenfoundsuitablefortestinganodiccoatingsonaluminum.Thecopper-acceleratedaceticacidsaltspraytestisusefulfortestingdecorativecoatingsofcopper+nickel+chromium,ornickel+chromium.Ithasalsobeenfoundsuitablefortestinganodiccoatingsonaluminum.Thesaltspraymethodsareallsuitableforcheckingthatthecomparativequalityofametallicmaterial,withorwithoutcorrosionprotection,ismaintained.Theyarenotintendedtobeusedforcomparativetesting,torankdifferentmaterialsrelativetoeachotherwithrespecttocorrosionresistance.
