【摘要】:Theproceduremaybeusedtotesttheeffectivenessofantimicrobialhandwashingagents.Thetestformulationsmaybedesignedforfrequentusetoreducethetransientbacterialfloraonhands.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheeffectivenessofantimicrobialhandwashingagentsforthereductionoftransientmicrobialflorawhenusedinahandwashingprocedure.1.2Aknowledgeofmicrobiologicaltechniquesisrequiredfortheseprocedures.1.3Inthistestmethod,metricunitsareusedforallapplications,exceptfordistanceinwhichcaseinchesareusedandmetricunitsfollowinparentheses.1.4Thistestmethodmaybeusedtoevaluatetopicalantimicrobialhandwashformulations.1.5Performanceofthisprocedurerequirestheknowledgeofregulationspertainingtotheprotectionofhumansubjects.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Formorespecificprecautionarystatementssee.
